River Campus Libraries Data Set Grant Program

This presentation material supports a workshop presented at the 2024 RIT & UR Staff Conference.

This lightning talk is about sharing the RCL Data Set Grant Program. This student-oriented service aims to help UR undergraduates and graduate students in the Arts, Sciences, and Engineering, the Warner School of Education, and Simon Business School obtain non-traditional data sets for their research studies and create data from their projects. Since this grant program launched in 2019, we have offered grants to 28 recipients from the Economics Dept and Political Science Dept. Earth and Environmental Sciences, Computer Science, and Simon Business School with a total amount of $34,910. Please come and listen to how this program works.
