Competing data needs: reconciling policies, infrastructure, and practices

This presentation accompanied a panel discussion held at the 2024 RIT & UR Staff Conference.

The panel relayed its experiences in the changing landscape of data and how libraries have adapted. Topics included data policies and requirements of various funders, libraries’ responses to the policies and their effects on librarians, and how library staff can use this opportunity to establish new relationships.
