Teaching Info Lit Through AI: From Concept to Classroom
This poster explores four "plug and play" learning activities that leverage AI tools to enhance students' information literacy skills beyond evaluating AI itself. Grounded in the ACRL Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education, these activities focus on identifying implicit biases and embracing research as an iterative process. We highlight our design process and integration into asynchronous and in-class settings, and share collected feedback from students, faculty, and librarians. Participants will gain insights into our pedagogical approach and lessons learned, along with strategies for using AI to support critical and creative research practices.
This poster was presented at the Teaching and Learning With AI Conference, held in Orlando, FL, USA, May 28-30, 2025.
