[ nutrition profile data visualization for Data Bloom 2023-24 ]

This is a data visualization project based on nutrient profile data submitted for the 2023-24 Data Bloom contest at River Campus Libraries.

Author's statement: My visualization shows an expanded nutrient profile data for almost 8,000 food items, from microwave dinners to fresh fruits and veggies. This visualization was designed to convey at-a-glance the nutrient makeup of food by weight to help users make healthier choices. For example, it displays 100% apple juice has the same water, sugar, and carb content as apples, but apples have fiber as well.
